What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Comments

This site uses the Facebook comments system. You can learn more about Facebook privacy here.

You can also choose to have your comments shared on your Facebook feed, but, by default, your comment shows up only on this site.

I decided to go with Facebook logins instead of allowing anonymous posts because most of my readers have Facebook accounts and because it dramatically reduces spam and the amount of work required for moderation.

The downside is that people can’t post anonymously and can’t post comments if they prefer not to use Facebook. After all, not everyone is a Facebook fan. I sympathize with that. I’m not a big fan of Facebook myself.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. That includes embedded Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube feeds.

Those websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics on this site to see general information about how many people come to the site, which pages they visit, and what countries they come from. Read more about Google Analytics and their data collection policies here.

Where we send your data

Krim World itself doesn’t collect any personal information. The comments are handled by Facebook, the site analytics by Google.
